Careers in Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) (8 Weeks) - Virtual

Students explore the field of artificial intelligence, introducing them to the basic concepts and applications of AI, including project cycles, and focusing on issues surrounding AI, including ethics, bias, culture, regulations, and professional expectations. The course utilizes Intel AI for Workforce Awareness and Foundations modules in a cloud environment and includes work-based learning that connects students to industry and the local community.

To meet the UC/CSU admission requirements (“G” credit), students must complete the course and earn a grade of 70% or better.

Build real cybersecurity job skills in this hands-on Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Training Lab. You will work like a junior cyber analyst, completing real-world tasks such as risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, continuity planning, and security documentation using professional tools and templates. Through guided labs and simulations, you will learn how to prioritize work, solve problems, and use AI tools responsibly while protecting sensitive data. This course is ideal for students interested in tech, cybersecurity, and high-demand digital careers.

Pre-Requisite: Must have taken A.I CyberForward previously. 

Class meets  on Mondays ( Asynchronous )  and Wednesdays (Virtually) from  4:30pm -6:30pm

UC / 5 credits 

Cybersecurity prepares students for real world Cyber security basics and Security Analyst & Vulnerability Analyst tasks. Students will learn real cyber security skills and perform real work scenarios with actual companies. This course provides students with hands-on knowledge and skills to prepare them for careers in Cybersecurity and information and communication technology.

To meet UC/CSU admission requirement (“G” credit), students must complete the course and earn a grade of 70% or better. 

A REGISTRATION LINK WILL BE PROVIDED AT A LATER DATE.

Required Hours: 

Class meets Tuesdays ( Asynchronous ) and Thursdays (Virtually)  from 4:30pm  to 6:30pm.

Plus 3 hours of offline work per week.
