Coastline Regional Occupational Program

UC /8 credits per semester  /(must be a high school senior to enroll)

Prepare for employment in various pharmacy settings. Class instruction includes; medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacy law, metric and apothecary systems, drug requirements, and dispensing prescriptions. 

To meet UC/CSU admission requirement (“G” credit), students must complete one year (two semesters) of the course and earn a grade of 70% or better.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Health occupation classes include the study of reproductive and other systems and require practicing procedures on other students and/or patients, both male and female, of differing ages. Participation in these activities is required for a certificate of completion and continuation in the career pathway. Additionally, these classes may require heavy lifting and bending. 

Class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays  ( In- Person)/ Fridays
