Students explore the field of artificial intelligence, introducing them to the basic concepts and applications of AI, including project cycles, and focusing on issues surrounding AI, including ethics, bias, culture, regulations, and professional expectations. The course utilizes Intel AI for Workforce Awareness and Foundations modules in a cloud environment and includes work-based learning that connects students to industry and the local community.

To meet the UC/CSU admission requirements (“G” credit), students must complete the course and earn a grade of 70% or better.

Class meets virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, plus 1 Field Trip on date TBD, time TBD.

Learn the elements of art and principles of design and develop the ability to use industry-standard software to produce illustrations and manipulate images using a computer and scanner. Students will create an individual portfolio.

Prerequisites: Previous experience using a computer is recommended.

The Advanced Entrepreneurship course is designed for individuals seeking to elevate their entrepreneurial skills and navigate the complexities of strategic business leadership. This advanced course builds upon the foundational knowledge gained in Entrepreneurship I, delving into advanced topics essential for successfully managing and growing a business.

Participants will explore advanced concepts in business operations, strategy, innovation, marketing, financial management, and global entrepreneurship. The course emphasizes practical applications, case studies, and real-world scenarios to equip students with the strategic thinking and decision-making skills necessary for entrepreneurial success.

Required Class Hours: 6 hours per week for the entire duration of the class.

Pre-Requisite: Must have taken Entrepreneurship I previously.
